    CZ SP-01 magazines

Where's the best price for CZ SP-01 magazines?

Does Greg Cote LLC have a monopoly on Mec-Gar 10 rounders? It seems like they're the only ones who ever has them in stock.

I'm looking to pick up 3 or more magazines. Hoping to save on shipping.

CTD has the .40 Mec-Gar 10 rounders for $18 and change, but a quick chat with CS says there's no ETA for 9mm.

I agree. And the shipping is reasonable. I think was under $8.

Greg Cote for sure. The Mec-Gar mags fit and function perfectly in both my SP-01 and 75b SA. Reasonable and fast shipping as well.

If that is true, and I'm not saying that it isn't true, then why is the finish different on the Mec-Gar? The mags that came with my 75B and the SP-01 are blued while the Mec-Gars that I purchased are a coating like paint. The Mec-Gars work well enough but I have noticed that I need to use greater force when I insert the magazines. I purchased the Mec-Gars from Gegg and they do look beautiful.

Only if you enjoy 1 for the price of 2.

10 thousand + rounds through my MecGar 10 round mags in USPSA comps never a failure.

I just ordered 6 more from Greg Cote, they just got more in stock.

Manufacturer specified finish vs aftermarket? Maybe the OEM finish is more expensive so Mec-Gar finishes "there" mags in something else?

I got some Baby Desert Eagle mags for about that off ebay. they work and look like OEM. I forget the # but you can google it if your in a pinch and cant find the mec-gar ones.

A while back I actually ask CZ customer service if Mec-Gar made their oem mags. They answered "Yes they do make some of them". So perhaps there are additional sources but you cant go wrong with a Mec-Gar mag for your CZ. Greg Cote is my go to mag source. Excellent pricing, shipping, and customer service.
