.40 Home Defense Ammo..

What do you guys use for .40 home defense ammo?

Looking to get some HD ammo but am curious as to what you guys are using so I can get some ideas. Thanks!

.40 Home Defense Ammo..

Take a look at Librerty Defense ammo.. It's supersonic ammo, lightweight and will feel like a 9mm... It's fragmenting/HP and there are some vids on their ballistic's gel performance...

I have them in both 9mm and 40

But, can Gold Dot or HST penetrate and go through Level III Armor like Liberty Defense?

^That looks like poor penetration, no expansion, and a small wound cavity with fragments going everywhere but where you aimed.

As far as defeating body armor? No, but most body armor protects the upper chest, and a few shots to an attacker's hips will work.

How about some Hornady XTP 200grain JHP in 10mm, it's a .40 Caliber?
