Does this pistol really exist? It is on the roster, as far as I can tell the only 92 compact on the roster, but can't find mention of it anywhere including berettas website. Can anyone find a product code that may lead to more productive searches? I'd like to at least see that it is listed somewhere even if out of stock.

yes. but mag does not -
The 92 Compact Type M has been out of production since around 2004. It is not an easy to find model and even more so for spare mags. Good luck with the search.Does this pistol really exist? Yes finding mags can be tough but if you scrounge around at gun shows you can pick them up for a reasonable price. I am lucky enough to own a blued and an Inox type M and in my opinion it is a fantastic conceal carry gun. The main benefit is they are a single stack mag so not as "girthy" as a standard Beretta.
There have been a couple offered here on Calguns in the last couple of years. Asking prices somewhere around $800, they seemed to sell rather quick if I recall. Good luck on your search.Comment

I didn't realize there was an inox one. You can try the gunshow thing but will be a long hard time consuming search and the main mag guy at most local show gouges just as much or more than eBay and his aftermarket mags are total trash.
Sadly when Turners had these new around $400 in 2003 or so I did not buy one and some spare mags.Comment

I have a couple Type Ms and I managed to get some used mags from CDNN about 8 years ago. I have both an inox and a black one. Ironically, I was living in Nevada at the time and got it from a guy in CA.
Good luck on your search.Starve the beast, move to a free state.
