    C&R Pistols

Which one would be the best for a plinking gun aswell as a narrow window of HD?

    CZ-52, or CZ-82, TT-33, Romanian TTC.

I mean come on just think if you had to defend your house (heaven forbid that you actually had to shoot at someone) but think you just get done running a rober or whatever off and the cops ask for oyur gun, they are thinking its going to be a 1911, a glock, maybe even a wheel gun. but nope you plop down a TT-33. that to me would be pertty funny no?

Hate to detract, but if you're looking into Comi-block guns don't forget the Makarov. It's known to be extremely accurate, reliable and can be found in 9x18 and .380acp.

CZ-82, it has an ambi-saftey and mag release, holds 10-12 rounds (depending on if you have pre-bans or not), and some pretty nice defensive rounds are available for it.

No, it just happen to use the same round as the Makarov does (which is called 9x18 Makarov).

I have both, and like them. The CZ82 is obviously much newer and has a slightly different grip feel to it. Also, I think the '82 has a spring as part of the firing pin assembly while the Mak does not (not too sure off the top of my head, and I'm traveling this week so I can't go look). The CZ82 uses a doublestack magazine, most of the Mak variants use a single-stack.

$250-400 depending on place of origin and condition, most desirable are East German and Russian Service models.

The CZ 82 is not on list and are a little harder to come by.

However, the 83 (.380) can be had brand new from CZUSA and are on the list.

Doesn't have to be on the list if it's C&R.

That's right totally forgot, however many Makarovs aren't C&R.

As many stated, 7.62x25 would give you plenty of overpenetration. If you you decided to get something that shoots it though, I'd go with CZ52. It's made sturdier than other Tokarevs, and Czech loads are hotter than other loads as a result. So you can shoot Czech and any other 7.62x25 ammo in CZ52, but it's not recommended to shoot Czech ammo in other Tokarevs.

I bought mine off this forum not so long ago, and I saw a few more for sale since. I also saw a few TTs, Russian and Romanian. So you just need to be patient.

ok when you say "the list" what are you meaning?
C&R because i know the CZ-82 are C&R only because a couple of vendors have them for sale, I really want a CZ-52 & 82, but a polish TT-33 would also be amazing, its funny I havent had one person say anything about having them on the WTB posts. if any of you sell yours keep me in mind...thanks!!!
