    I need advice with G43.

I need some opinion. I currently own Glock 19 Gen3 (fully stock) and Glock 29sf gen 3 (fully stock but currently using wolff 21lbs spring and lonewolf 10mm barrel) All of them I purchased brand new. G19 has about 1200 round through it.

Now as much as I love my G19 and shoots very accurate with it. (also picked up alot of girls luring them to shooting range for dates) I am now interested in picking up G43.

I don't go range anymore and now I am into hiking/backpacking and recently bought 1000 round of underwood ammo(hard cast and XTP hollow point) and bravo concealment holster and lonewolf barrel when it was on sale. <---main reason why I can't get rid of G29sf (stupidly put too much money on it but I love its power)

Recently (I live in SF) I found this guy selling G43 BNIB for 900 bucks. And I am really thinking about either selling my G19 and add cash to it and purchasing it. I think I can bring price down by 800-850 and sell my G19 for 450-500.

So what do you guys think? I know G19 is flagship for it's category. But it seems to me that I can pick up G19 anytime but BNIB G43 in california is gonna get tough. I have small hands and even in my house I load 7-8 round of ammo on both of my gun.

Anywhere under 900 for the g43 I'd say you're doing well. Also, don't sell your G19 for under $500.

Honestly, to keep it simple and short. I rather keep Glock 19 unless you already have CCW. I think Glock 43 is made for CCW purpose, not like Glock 19 where you can use it for almost anything (ccw, range, duty, off duty,HD, and recreation purpose as well).

If Glock came out with G44 as in a sub compact single stack 6 shot in 40S&W, I still would not sell my G23. Although I may think hard about selling the G27.

I think a G43 for 900 bucks is nuts, roster be damned. IMO, it's just not worth it for that price. Keep the G19, easily one of the best 9mm pistols out there, and perhaps get a G26. Except for being a double stack, it is approx. the same size as a 43, but holds 10 rds. I sometimes take my 26 camping and it is a perfect size.

Thanks guys, everyone around me and as well as folks here and various sites told me same thing that I will regret once I let go of G19. It was my first handgun and I lost my mind a bit. I will keep this baby for good.

Good decision OP. I was checking out the G43s' size difference compares with my G23 and G27 which are basically same size as the G19 and G26. I wouldn't get rid of any of them.

Why do you only load your mags to 7 or 8 rounds??

I bought a G43 for 380.00 an the uniform store. ( they sell guns too). I qualified with it , cleaned it and put it in the safe. Gona keep it as a novelty. Thats about it. If I was into hiking and CCW, and had 800-900 to spend on a handgun, G43 would not be on my list. G26, Sig P239, S&W 5 shot J frame revolvers would be.
