Need a Springfield XD expert's help

I've been commissioned by a relative to research and find an XD45. It needs to be a full size (tactical) with either a 5" or 5.25" barrel. The CA roster has the following models that have been approved and I'm trying to understand the differences. Could someone who knows the XD's please indicate the differences among the models?

XD9162
XD9262
XD9621
XD9622
XD9624

And then I sometimes see an 'HC' shown at the end of the #'s. Any help would be appreciated!!

Have you tried calling Springfield ? Their customer service is excellent !

The Springfield website has guns

HC stands for high capacity, which is really standard capacity. Those models are not for us as they come with greater than 10 round magazines.

I believe the only one currently being produced that is on the CA roster is the XD 9621 and maybe the XD9624.

But if estrom finds a out of state or in state dealer that has any remaining unsold models that are on the list he can still have one shipped in.

Unfortunately the only models that had a 5.25 inch barrel where on the XD-M models that where never on the list. And finding one PPT is hard to come by and not cheap.
