Ruger GP100

Hi,
So I'm looking to buy a GP100 stainless 6". I found this one but it says its a kgp-101. I did some research and found that its the one I'm looking for. Can someone confirm that please? The reason I ask is because its $80 cheaper. I have both links.

The part number is the same, and the KGP-161 is listed on the roster. I'd say you're GTG.

The Ruger site is tricky. Find a pistol you want, like the 1707 GP-100, then press the "Buy Now" button. Don't worry you didn't purchase it. You'll find the catalog number there. That's the number that should appear on the roster.

So 1707 = KGP-161

The GP100 is the base series. The "K" used to indicate stainless on Ruger weapons. They now seem to be using arbitrary Manufacturer Part Numbers (MPN).

Note the "SKU/MPN and Item Numbers on both ads indicate "1707", so they should be the same gun. Buy from Riflegear.

The "K" denotes stainless; the GP is the series; (an "F" following the GP denotes fixed sights). The number replacing the "0" is the barrel length: KGP141 is a stainless 4"; KGP161 is a 6" stainless.

I have a GP-161 the blued version of the GP-100 6" I am happy with it.
