CZ Shadow Orange

I wanted the opinion of fellow CZ Enthusiasts. I have an opportunity to pickup a CZ Shadow Orange. The price would be $1800. Is it worth it? It already has some trigger work done by CZ Customs and only 20 rounds down range. There were only 12 imported into the country.

I was planning on picking up another Shadow. This would be about $1000 over a regular Shadow. I would probably also sell my CZ P09.

Please correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't the Shadow Orange just a regular Shadow with orange grips and orange magazine bumpers, right?

Well considering the normal shadow in free states is half that but on calguns they run $1500-1700. With the accushadows adding another grand. If I had the cash and luck, I'd get it....

A shadow orange has a match fit barrel as well as trigger work. So it's not exactly a regular factory Shadow.

Let's see, you're a CZ guy with a unique opportunity to buy 1 of the 12 rare CZ pistols for hundreds less than you could resell it for if you didn't like it. Hmmm let me think on this a while and get back to you

I had a conversations with the right person. He told me he doesn't shoot the gun and was selling it.

Is this Stuart's? He had his for sale awhile ago not sure if he sold it. I guess he could sell the frame with a SP-01 upper, dros it as an SP-01, then exchange the upper for the Orange paying the difference. If I can buy more Orange grips I would just build my own. CZC does match fit barrels.

I don't need to do that. I moved to a free state(Utah) in March of this year. I've already picked up a Duo Tone SP01 Shadow.
