FNP pistol

I just bought my first handgun an FNP 9mm, I like the look and the way it felt in my hand. Has anyone shot one or own one? Only upgrade I am thinking of in the future is night sites from trijicon. Thanks in advance!!!

My favorite gun of them all I have the FNP IN 9mm and 40

Check for slide wear/gouging under the "P" where is is stamped FNP-9... those were known to have that issue... google and look at pics.... You have to take off the takedown lever and file or dremel the sharp top edge, and also bend the takedown lever tension spring to make that lever not move under recoil. There are also some with the early plastic fire control housing that WILL crack.... the old and new housings look different.. you can google that also.

I just called fn customer service and try told me the pistol was made in 2011. Is it just the early pistols that have those issues?

I have an FNP-9 as well. Bought it from a calgunner. It's accurate, never jams and good looking to boot. OP you made a good choice IMHO

This was also my first gun. It was an excellent choice in hindsight for a first gun, easy to clean, lightweight and inexpensive.

It's decent gun, lot cheaper than traditional Sig models. However, heard nothing but positive when it comes to FNZ 45ACP thou.
