    Finaly fixed my used G22

I bought a used police trade in Glock 22 back in the 90`s and from day one I couldn't hit a bulls eye on a target it just shot all over the place . I could shoot my buddy's G22 that he bought new just fine . So I found a Glock replacement spring and pin kit from Glock store .com .

I completely broke the gun down even the firing pin sleeve (Nightmare) and discovered the gun had a New York trigger spring in it I couldn't believe it . Put the gun back to original condition and took it to the range last night and now it is on target . Years of frustration finally fixed .

Glad it's working well. What's a NY trigger spring?

It's a separate mechanism (iirc) that increases the trigger pull weight to NYPD specs (heavy).

It's like a piece of plastic that adds more weight to the trigger.

People actually like those triggers. They add a minus connector bar and it's suppose to be a really smooth trigger pull after that.

Any chance you could post pictures of what you replaced or how the old part fit in with the trigger mechanism? Thanks.
