I bought a Storm Lake 9mm conversion barrel from MidwayUSA for my Glock 35. At the same time I switched out the stock sights for Ameriglo Spartans. I took it to the range and it was 2.5" shooting high and right at 10 yards. I wasn't sure if it was my new sights or my new barrel. I put a couple hundred more rounds through it to see if the barrel/slide interface would settle down and start shooting straight, but it never did.
So I put the stock .40 barrel back in and it shoots dead on as far as windage and a half inch high as far as elevation at 10 yards. So it wasn't the sights. It was the barrel.
I contacted Storm Lake and they told me to send the barrel in. I waited a few weeks and never heard from them. So I emailed them and they told me they couldn't fix the barrel so they were sending me a new one.
The new one came and shoots about the same as the old one. It might be slightly better than the old one at 2" high and right.
Has anyone else experienced this? Is there a fix? Maybe I should ask for a refund and try a Lone Wolf conversion barrel.
