Bought my first CZ today, but then...

Put a deposit on my first CZ today. Found a CZ SP-01 at DGM Gun in San Diego and after holding it, I decided to pull the trigger. It was the last one and it was a bit more than I wanted to pay but I finally have one. I can't start DROS until 8/2 so the wait will even be longer!

I plan on using it for getting my toes wet in competitions. Any recommendations for this pistol other than ammo and shoot the heck out of it? I want to keep it stock for a bit as well.

**Update 7/30**So after thinking about it, I decided to go back to where I got my SP-01 and put a deposit on a 97B. The more I thought about it, the more I wanted it. It will be a long 40 days. Now I just have to decide which one to DROS first tomorrow.

Keep it stock till you break it in. You might not want to mod it after that.

It will not be your last! I picked up a P-01 last week and have a SP-01 that like you I have to wait to DROS. Not until 8\10 so yeah the wait is hard, but worth it!!

Can you elaborate on why they suck? I've bought from them before without issues

Meh, I have never shot a Stock CZ that felt anywhere near as nice as one with a decent action/trigger job.
