    Larry Vickers Glock 19/17

Any one has experience with the special edition Glock? All I know is special on RTF2 frame, FDE, Wilson combat sights and vickers's parts. Also they made 2500 G19 and 2500 G17 only.

Does it worths a premium only regular Gen3 or Gen4?

    Does it shoots better?

Was lucky enough to score a G19 and G17 this year. Haven't shot the 17 yet but the 19 shot very well and was extremely pleased. The trigger feels very nice and no mush like other Gen 3's. So nice I had 2 of the g19's at one point but sold one and later got the 17. The RTF grip is solid. Can't speak for everyone but it really molds nice to my hands and that grip texture is velcro grip. Think they would've looked cooler in OD green though.

Wow $600 I will buy it in a heartbeat. Can you share the link?
In theory, the rft2 is a gen3. It should be ok to send it to my FFL to transfer, right?

Negative, off roster, expect to see asking prices of 900+ through PPT.

Is it worth it? It's a gen3 RTF with a few vickers parts and a paint job.

If you got the cash, then get it.
Otherwise a plain jane Gen3 G19 is 97% the same thing and just as good.

                Got 1 of each. It's a fde rtf2 gen 3.
Trigger is the same as all the other glocks, gritty...
Smooth face trigger for the 17. Grooved for the 19.
The extra 100 you paid is worth it in the sights and rtf texture. I didn't care for the mag release, slide lock and base plate.
The rtf frame to me is my favorite. It definitely sticks into your hand. Better than a gen4 because the texture on the rtf is "pin" like. No need to stipple your gun.
So to some the extra 100 is worth it. To others probably not.

                  parts are good.

the value i see in these glocks are their collect-ability given the customized serial numbers including "LV" and the RTF2....you can modify a stock glock 19/17 to have the same parts but is this worth an extra $200? perhaps it is considering the sights alone may be over $100, and the other parts are roughly $30 (on avg) each separately. Either way, ive used his parts (except for the sights) and they do perform well.

The Glock 17 RTF2 is on roster. Add the LV parts to it and you can have a similar gun without paying the premium. It's not as cool as the real thing but hey that's the price for living in CA.

Aren't RTF2 frames discontinued? Probably be easier to find LV model at this point.

Not as cool. And it won't match my holster
