Repaired SA loaded 1911 range report

Today I shot my SA loaded 1911 that was sent back to SACS for a stuck hammer that would not drop. Gun was repaired and returned in about 10 days...had a bad sear. They didn't say exactly what was wrong with it but it has a new sear now. Shot 150 rounds through it today and it shot and felt great. Trigger was very crisp, maybe even more so than before the repair.

Thumbs up to SACS for a fast fix and turnaround!

Not sure why most of the SA 1911s have to go back for repair.
Why cant they make it right and have better QC at factory.

Don't think so.

He had some bad experience with SA's as I as I have. He also used to own a Kimber but sold that away too.

BUT, the OP is happy with SA's.....so I say..... that's good.

I have no hate for SA, bit their questionable QC sucks. I personally don't know anyone that hasn't had to send their Springfield home.

I have two SS loadeds, one in 9mm and the other .45. Shoot them both stock and never had a problem with either one.

Never had a problem in either my SA Loaded in .45 or 9mm. I prefer the .45 though. Might be listing my SA loaded 9mm soon.

You don't like loaded 9mm? I recently bought both Loaded Target 45 and 9mm but didn't get a chance to shoot either.
