    S&W PC 686+ 2.5?

Hey everyone I was wondering if anyone knew where I could pick up a Smith & Wesson Performance Center 686+ 2.5 around Sacramento? I have found plenty of the normal version but what I am looking for is a PC model. I want a BNIB one, and have had no luck finding one. Thanks

I'm honestly surprised you could even find the normal model. They aren't usually easy to come by.

Your best bet for that gun would be to find a shop that has a good relationship with their distributors and wait until they can get you one.

If you don't want to wait for that you can buy one on gun broker and get it shipped in.

I hear you. I have a place near me that has the 627 PC in stock in .357 ($1299-ouch) but I don't care for that as much aesthetically as I do the 686 pc. They do have the regular model in stock in the 2.5 inch but I am really stuck on the PC model

I called my local kitchen table FFL and asked if he could get one. Seemed that he didn't have any problems getting it through one of his distributors, and last week it came home:

I replaced the OEM grips with some which were more comfortable to me (and anyway I can keep the OEM grips pristine and in the box if I ever choose to sell the gun). Shot it this week, and it is a keeper - Really nice DA trigger pull, and beautiful "glass rod like" in SA.

Seems like they are available right now - Smith must have recently completed a run of them. Do you have a local FFL where you have a relationship? Grab one through him, or if he can't get one through his sources buy mail order through someone like KYGUNCO and pay the transfer fees.

Buy one online. Have Robby at Golden State Tactical in Fair Oaks take shipment and do the DROS, etc. Thank me later.
