    M&P Shield night sight recommendations

I have a M&P Shield that I'm adding to my carry rotation. I like to have night sights on my carry guns just in case I have to use them in a low light scenario.

Does anyone have any recommendations as to what night sights would work on this gun? I'm leaning towards Trijicons but haven't fully decided.

    Thanks

I posted in the wrong forum. Moderator, could you please move it to handguns

Check out truglow TFX sights they are fiber optic and have Trijicon vials in them. They are the brightest sights I've ever used day or night.

Amerigo idots on mine. Rear was easy, front you'll need a ditch witch or Thor's hammer.

          This.
The Trijicon vials don't last forever, but the fiber optics are like light bulbs.

I'm taking the gun to a local gunsmith. He's done work for me in the past

              Thanks

"Gunsmith" worked on mine, the rear sight came loose after 50 rds and they broke the front vile.

                Amerigo send out another pair.

Buddy got these Ameriglo CAP sights which are pretty sweet. Available in red also.

I believe mepro makes them for the shield, I love my 3 dot mepro on my 1911. I don't mind the fact they're just white dots in daylight. They also have a faint green tinge at the indoor range, so it works very well (IE the tritium is bright enough to start glowing in moderate/low light).

I think truglo uses trijicon vials, so that's a plus if you want them. I haven't used XS big dots, but they seem like a very good option for a purely defensive gun, probably not very accurate at the range, but plenty and very visible when things go bump in the night or you end up in the wrong neighborhood.

The 10-8 Shield rear sight with Ameriglo ProGlo front (or your preferred front).

I run big dots on all my other pistols and I plan on having them on my shield once I actually get around to ordering them .

I also put a 10-8 plain rear with an Ameriglo ProGlo orange front. I had Bolsa Gunsmithing do the install.

I put Truglo TFO's on mine and am very happy with the result.
