Congrats on the new pickup! Please post pics or it didn't happen
The fit and finish on the grips are very good, as is expected with Hogue products. I really like the feel of them. They are not textured, yet the material itself provides a good amount of grip. I am very happy with the way it handles with the grips and definitely recommend them.

yeah.... I have a 629 6" and I only shot 3 cylinders full before I changed out the stock grips. I bought the Pachmayr Decelerator which covers the backstrap and those helped quite a bit. It takes a toll on you but still gets a smile out of folks who shoot it. I'm nowhere near accurate with it but I've kept it all these years simply because it's fun. I find it can still intimidate me (gets me to flinch a bit the first round or two) even though I've shot it many times.Comment

Yep, it was me. Glad he was able to get you one too. The last four guns I've bought have all been from 2A Zone. I don't think I'll ever buy from anyone else, unless it's ppt (even then I'll probably go through them).sigpic"Political correctness is tyranny with manners. "- Charlton HestonComment

I hear you man. What's not to like, flexible hours, nicest people, best prices, people that know what they're doing.
I live 60 miles away with a LGS 2 miles down the street, I still would rather go to them.
Let me know if you decide to change out toe grip, I'd love to see how it looks on a 6 inch.Comment
