Sorry for the crickets. Figured I would post just so you know people are reading the post.

Never seen it before. Not a big race gun guy...not yet anyways. Would be interested to hear what people who have used them have to say. Always interested in learning something new.

I don't shoot competitive but I like a "heavier" weight to my g19. I added a surefire light and an extended compensated barrel just for the added weight. Looks like it attaches to the Glock rail. How much weight does it add? Link to the product? I am actually somewhat interested now.

Want to add weight on the cheap?
Find an inexpensive attachable light. One of the old Insights or even those laser/light combos you can find for like $50. Gut it and fill with lead shot. Seal it up real well. Now you can find a variety of kydex holsters already offered to accommodate most light/laser combos. Or get one of the Fobus ones which allow for any light/laser attachment.
The issue with the product you have shown would be it adds thickness on the sides. That add on will certainly favor an open style handgun carrier or race holster. The ones that only offer the minimum in coverage and are designed to allow speed in a competitive environment. To use other styles of holsters you would need to increase the width, and with the gas pedal some form of a cut out for it.
Adding weight certainly will increase accuracy, control and recovery.
I would go the Bob Vogel signature way of gutting a light and filling with lead.

ok so I checked out the website. $140 and they don't even tell you the actual weight increase. I am having a hard time with the price for a brick of metal.....
