Beaver tail's on P226

Hello everyone,

I have the the P226 scorpion elite with beaver tail, and i wondering if people feel a difference with it when holding their baby. Also I want to know how people feel about the beaver tails on the p226 elite series? I have been hearing mixed feeling about the beaver tail and just want to get everyone's opinions

Prefer them on the 229 elite, on the 226 i feel it makes the gun way to long.

I have a beaver on my P220 Elite Dark and my P226 is beaverless. I don't notice a difference when firing them one after the other on the range.

Love the tail, but I dont own p226.. I do have p320 thou..

For me it's just sexy. the beavertail on the sigs has a great line. Picked up a P226 Stainless Elite, P229 Stainless Elite, P229 Enhanced Elite and a P226 X5 and I lay them on the table and stare at them like I'm at a beach full of Reef campaign girls.

I honestly feel I can get a little higher on the tang on the beavertails. Also if you run out of bullets you have one hell of a good impact weapon.

I can see why some people may like the beaver tail, if they are a lover to 1911's. I was looking at the p226 extreme the other day and love the feel of it in my hand, but could not notice a difference between the beaver tail and without...but just not sure if i get the extreme, that i am wasting money since i have a 226 scorpion.

I had a P229 Enhanced Elite with a Beaver tail. It did not make me enhanced not elite. I prefer the standard 229 and other SiGs sans Beavertail. It just shoots better for me.

beaver tails look better for me. but haven't found or feel any difference by shooting
