    CZ sight installation

Can you recommend any good gun smith in Los Angeles area preferably in SFV or Simi Valley that can install Adjustable rear and FO front on CZ tactical sport?

I am little concerned because front sight has to be drilled to install roll pin and I don't have to scratch the gun while drilling.

    Thanks

its pretty easy on your own for the front sight. you barely have to drill, basically putting in the #47 drill bit and slow squeezing it a few times. start from the left side, drill slow. use blue tape to protect surfaces of your gun if you feel the need. you may have to sand the bottom of the new sight a little by running it over some sandpaper to fit it.

The front sight will be easier to install than the rear sight, especially if you don't have a sight pusher.

You won't be fully drilling out the front sight rather you are just putting a groove on the underside of the sight that allows the pin to be put in. As Dyson stated put a couple of layers of masking tape on the left side of the slide and use a hand drill. You come in from the left side since the drill bit is spinning clockwise and from the left it will draw the sight to the rear and if it is fully seated it won't budge at all. If you come in from the right hand side of the slide it the clockwise motion would attempt to back the sight out of the slot, not what you want at all.

I picked up a Dawson Precision front sight and it is pre-notched, no drilling necessary. I've installed Hi-Viz on a couple of CZs, and the drilling in not a big deal.

+1 on what Dyson and Old4eyes said. It seemed daunting at first, but its really not that bad to do. Just take your time and go nice and easy.

The rear TS will be a pain in the *** to get out.

I already have a CZ Custom adjustable rear sight for Tactical sport, but did not purchase front yet. Can I purchase Dawson precision FO front to go with it? And if so what height sight should I get? So that i dont have to drill the hole.

Quality wise Dawson better than CZ custom? Or better to stick with CZ for both the sights?

            Thanks

You might have to call dawsons precision. I hear CZ Custom and DP measure the heights of their sights differently

Yes that's that's the reason I am asking.

Which one is better for CZ pistol?😀

I have DP on my G34 and I like them no experience with CzC sights
