Will a muzzle device for a 556 barrel fit a 300 blackout barrel? I have a Degroat Flash Enhancer I want to use on a 300 blackout pistol.

No! Is your barrel threaded 1/2-28? If so you need to open up the hole to .308 dimensions. I had to do this for a .277 bullet to go through a .224 brake. Took a drill bit to it, and everything is good.NRA Lifetime MemberComment

Your 5.56 muzzle device will not fit a 300 blackout barrel. They typically have 5/8-24 threads. A 5.56 thread is 1/2-28.
Not to mention that if it did fit you would be in for a world of hurt. Different calibers have different thread pitches for exactly that reason.
