She'll have first rounds downrange tomorrow. So far i'm pretty impressed with the overall finish of this pistol. There is some play in the receiver even after the spring loaded bushing has been applied but thats due to slight tolerances in the forward receiver takedown pin tabs. (a thin piece of plastic cut to fill the gap works) There is also the issue of the Charging Handle sag that'll cause it to scrape the lower but i'm sure Sig will come out with a replacement part that has a tab that pushes up on the charging handle from the recoil spring guide.
Temp fix here:
The trigger is just about the same as any factory AR single stage. It can be polished and cleaned up a bit but to be honest an aftermarket would better suit it. Although there is a part that acts as a hood over the sear that prevents the hammer from releasing it (first gens were getting slam fires) and is probably the reason they say not to change the trigger or it'll void the warranty.
Enough of my ramblings, I'd like to see how you guys have your MPX's set up. And i will say i am very excited for the release of the different parts and accessories that are due to be released in the future!
