    P-01 . . . My first CZ

I have been a H&K guy for a long time but finally decided to see what all the fuss was about with these CZ's. I must say I am loving my new P-01! The stock trigger is not as heavy, or gritty, as I expected, although the reset is really looooonng. For the price, I am impressed with this little pistol out of the box. I think I'm going to need to study up on doing some of the action upgrades I've been seeing reference to in recent threads. I can see more CZ's in my future

Thanks! I really love the feel of the thin aluminum grips. Even though my hands are not small, I get an iron solid grip with these.

Thanks for the tips. I have read good things about CGW but it seems they are not taking new work? I will probably want to smooth the action just a little to reduce pull weight, but REALLY want to shorten the reset too.

I agree. I've been shooting polymer framed guns for so long I had almost forgotten what a steel/alloy frame felt like. The weight and feel of this pistol is excellent for me.

Very nice, those grips look good.

What's your next one gonna' be? Maybe a TS? Shadow, SA, 97B?

SP-01 goes very well with your P-01.

Thanks Whipkiller. Most of my pistols are 45 acp, so my next will probably be the 97. I have been looking at that TS in 9mm also though.

Thanks Static! The shear number of testimonials on CG and other forums sure seems to support that statement. I can't believe I never paid any attention to CZ years ago.

I was the same. Been a glock shooter my whole life and still love the G19. Held a buddy's CZ P01 and had to have one, got it tuned and now I have like 10 CZ's

If you can get an AccuShadow, single action 97B and a CZ Tac Sport.

I personally prefer my 97B and the Tac Sports over my AccuShadow, but all 3 are amazing guns.

Don't mean to derail th thread, but what's the size difference between a Glock 19 and a P-01/PCR. I am thinking of taking advantage of some 4th deals in regard to the P-01/PCR(still deciding between the two, if the PCR didn't have that ugly LCI I wouldn't even consider the P-01). However if I were to buy a P-01 it would be to replace my Glock 19.
