    CZ75 OMEGA

Would You buy a CZ75 OMEGA? What is the difference between OEMGA and regular CZ75?

    Thank You

I have both. The Omega trigger was better from the box and easier to work on. There is much more support for the 75b currently. That might change as the P-09 and Omega become more popular. CGW has parts for the Omega. They are great to deal with.

My understanding that 75B OMEGA has a different trigger than regular 75B and the rest of the gun is the same. Am I correct?

If memory serves me, Omega triggers were designed to reduce the part count and complexity of CZ75 triggers. At the same time reducing parts, they tried to add a better trigger feel. Usually 75B with Omega triggers mostly found on 9mm calibers.

I've owned both the 75b and the 75b Omega. I liked the Omega WAY better. It has the beavertail like the SP-01 has.

The problem you'll run into if finding the Omega. It's off roster, and I haven't seen anyone selling one privately lately.

Other than getting the two models next to each other. Checking out a parts diagram for the two different trigger system is you best best to gaining a better understanding of the differences.

For DIY, i much prefer the classic CZ trigger system. Currently there is much greater support for it. The only Omega like trigger system i have had the opportunity to work on is my P-09. CGW has a good range of parts available for the P-series. The steel framed Omega has even less parts support than the P-series CZs.

While my P-09 tuned up well, i personally feel that it takes a back seat to a tuned classic CZ. In time with added parts support this gap may narrow.

As was mentioned above, if one was going to buy a CZ and keep it stock, the Omega is a good choice. From all i have gathered the Omega dose have an edge in a stock configuration. My P-09 was a bit easier to shoot rite out of the box than some of my other CZs.

The trigger in my p07 just gets better and better every time I shoot it. Literally every box I run thru it seems to smooth out the pull incrementally

I'm a fan of the Omega. I wish the P-01 Omega would find it's way into my safe already so I can run a safety.
