Question/help regarding p220 internals

There seems to be a pin protruding out on the inside of the dis-assembly lever. Is this normal? The gun is a p220 carry elite stainless. When I tried to compare it to a p226 elite, it raises the possibility that there might be a piece missing. I tried to push and pull the pin but it wouldn't budge. Any help is appreciated.

That is the end of the Slide Catch Lever spring that gives tension to the takedown lever and slide catch lever, I believe. it sits on the side of the locking block/insert and one end goes through the hole in the block.

From what I remember, it sits low enough, and in a recess in the frame, to not interfere with anything... I sold mine, so I can't go look at it.
