Sig P320 Compact vs Full (Grip Size)

I recently purchased a P320 Compact in medium (9mm), and I feel like the grip is a tiny bit small for me.

Does anyone know the circumference of the compact medium vs. full size medium?

Additionally, does the circumference for any of the frames increase based on their designated calibers?

I'm considering switching from my current compact medium to a full size (9mm or .40) and am wondering if I should get it in medium or large.

Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

    Do you mean circumference?

Sig's website has all of the relevant specs.

Since they all take the same magazine, I assumed the width is identical (left to right) and only the length changes (front to back).

For instance, Full is 1.4 inches, Carry is 1.4, Compact is 1.4, Subcompact is 1.1.

Edit: Apologies, didn't realize you are talking about frame replacements, sorry!

Thanks for the info. I'm curious to know where the width size is measured from.

If you go from compact to full you also need a new slide and barrel assembly plus mag. A better bet might be to upgrade to to the new CARRY grip module, which uses the same slide you have but has the same grip length and uses the same mags as the full size grip module.

It would be cheap to try first - you only need the grip module and a magazine, and it would tell you if the full size grip worked for you. Later you could get the full size X-change kit, then you would have three sizes of guns to choose from when you wanted: compact, carry and full.

I just got the compact large in the mail today and it feels great. I can't wait to shoot the gun. I originally ordered it from sig, but after waiting two weeks I called them and I was told it was back ordered. When I placed the order I was told it was in stock and nobody ever bothered to tell me that they were back ordered when it came time for them to process and ship my order. I was pretty disappointed that sig dropped the ball. I then ordered one from selway and it shipped and I received it right away.
