Springfield Loaded 9mm Main Spring Housing Help

I have a Loaded 9mm with the standard Springfield locking mainspring. I took the gun apart tonight to do a detailed cleaning and noticed that there is no retaining pin for the main spring. There is a hole for it, but no pin. Is that because of the locking system, or is the pin just missing?

For what it is worth, the gun functioned fine and I have around 5k rounds through it.

Looking at mine which is no longer in the gun I would say it is for a pin to hold in the cap and mainspring if you take out the ILS other wise the ILS does hold the mainspring and parts in the housing.

^^ is correct. When I took my 9mm loaded apart I noticed this and contacted SA to make sure this is normal for the pin to be missing. They said yes, if the gun has the ILS, there will be no pin as the ILS covers it.
