    CZ-75 Accuracy

I took my CZ-75B SA that I've had for a while now to the range for the first time today.

I was very disappointed by its accuracy. Shooting from a rest, I has having trouble holding 12" groups at 20 yards.

Is this level of accuracy normal for a CZ-75? I wasn't expecting accuracy equivalent to a dedicated bullseye gun, but this is pretty bad.

Yea that's not normal CZ accuracy.

Try different ammo? Did you have other people shoot the gun from the rest as well? Do you have a sample group of your shooting from a rest with a different handgun?

Do you still have the test target from factory that came with the gun? What you described is not normal at all. Shooting from a rest, that seems like a gun issue. Maybe worth a call to CZ?

New gun, excited, etc. Give it another spin and relax, see how you do. Most of the time it's the Indian not the arrow.

                    To answer a few questions:

Ammo was Winchester white box bulk pack. 115 grain FMJ.

I cleaned the gun and the bore before shooting it.

I didn't keep the targets. I typically can shoot 1-2" groups at 20 yards from a rest with my other handguns.

The factory target looks like a shotgun pattern. The group size is 9.6cm, and I assume this was done from a machine rest.

9.6 cm is only 3 3/4". Far less than 12"

What ammo should I try? I'm primarily a .45 ACP and .38spl guy and not that familiar with what works best in 9mms.

How did the reach feel with your trigger finger and overall in your hand?
