    Patch Size For 9mm?

    Hey:

Looking to pick up some cleaning patches in preparation for my new Springfield XD-9's homecoming. I'm still a relative n00b to firearms, so forgive this question - what size patches work for 9mm caliber?

I'm assuming 35-45 caliber sizes, based on measurements, but I want to check with the helpful folks at Calguns first.

    Yes, those are correct.
"You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means."
"What we get away with isn't usually the same as what's good for us"
"An extended slide stop is the second most useless part you can put on a 1911"

"While Ruger DA revolvers may be built like a tank, they have the aesthetics of one also,
although I suppose there are a few tanks which I owe an apology to for that remark"

I would say save your money on the patches and just buy yourself a boresnake. Much better than patches.

@burair - Planning on getting a boresnake, but I want to get a few patches to do thorough cleaning every so often.

Yeah, do both, it doesn't compare when using a boresnake and patches rather than just one or the other.
