    Let there be light

My first handgun light arrived this morning. Bought 2 (1 for a friend) Great price on Amazon and only $10 extra for next day delivery. I must have checked the tracking thingy 20 times Yes, I'm having fun.

I already cleared my house and garage, all is secure

TLR-1 is great. I went to a local night-match with a $20 light. Every shot it would randomly turn itself on or off. What a piece of junk. Then my wife bought me the TLR-1 (not the strobe and not the HL) for Christmas or something, and I used that in 3 more night-matches and it was solid and reliable. I bought myself a spare one on a whim.

            Can't wait.

I will sweep the back yard so my Golden Retriever can pee in total relaxation.

It's dark finally! Gave it a test run in the house, garage and in the back yard, 300 lumens (basic model) is plenty bright and I can see the outline of my sights as clear as a bell. I can actually see my front sight outline on target quicker than if I was at a fully lit range if that makes any sense.

Nice. I want a red dot on mine. Probably go with a Burris and no milling.

What sight is that on your 19 and did you have to have any work done to the slide?

First Glock I ever shot was a 19, rented one and was really blown away by it's accuracy. It's what converted my anti Glock snobbery into how many more will I be buying

It's expensive, but I think it is worth the investment.

Trijicon Suppressor Night Sights. Yes, I sent my slide to Mark Housel at L&M Precision to get it milled for the RMR.
