What would the procedure be if I wanted a completely custom 1911 from an out of state maker?

Can I buy a blank frame, DROS it here, and then ship it to him for completion?

Its possible with some caveats. With some coordination we can probably get you what you and your gunsmith needs. Send us an email.

Check out limited-ten's single shot slide. Combine that with a virgin frame, and you should be good to go.

Very important that the frame has never been a semi auto before.

You would DROS it after completion. Can't DROS a bare frame.
