    Beretta 8045F value

Interested in picking up a Beretta 8045F but not really sure what the going rate is for a used specimen.
Any one have any idea of the current value on a used 8045F? I'd appreciate any info you can provide. Thanks.

If it is a police trade in from a friend with 1 mag I would suggest about $350-400. If it is more new or private owner, I would say around $500. They weren't that great of a gun, but I believe they were used by LASD?

One good thing is you will be able to use the CX4 rifle in .45 with the same magazines as the cougar 8045 pistol.

LAPD did/does allow them. Being in CA roster issues will make getting one hard and more expensive. I recently bought my dad one. Mini Cougar mags in 45 are hard to find and expensive

Not sure what the issue would be since the Beretta 8045F is still on the CA roster. Availability might be the bigger challenge.

Yes, the 8045F is no longer in production but Beretta was kind enough to keep it on the roster along with the 92G-SD and Vertec Inox

Surprisingly, the Stoeger Cougar is no longer on the list. Why keep the Beretta on the list but not the Stoeger?
Check back later for a witty comment.

My first Firearm. Super dependable, I have at least 3K rds through mine with almost no malfunctions. Not much to look at but I still have full confidence in her. I recently got 3 OEM mags from Midway for under $100.

FYI Gun Broker has a few new and used. I am actually considering one over a 1911.

Expensive, yes. But Brownell's has them, and there are a few on gun broker as well.

There is some mini cougar 45 mags on eBay as well. I need to get a spare normal 45 mag.

GB is a good place to get comp pricing. Not a good place to buy guns from since we live in Commyfornia. FFL fees quickly eat any price break.

I have a 9mm Cougar in the works for $300. It is from a cop, but not a cop turn in. And he never carried it as duty weapon.
