that's very cool of them and I would like to see anyone in the gun industry to do the same.

I just feel of all items being currently manufactured you definitely need company to stand behind their products when they are firearms. it gets them repetitive business and helps keeps you in the game for the long run.

those are some pretty large porting holes, how does it shoot & recoil?

Yes this is my first SW and because of this it wont be the last.

Its chambered in .40 so its a bit snappy. Theres a great youtube vid showing the recoil in slo mo. Pretty cool to see the difference in non ported and ported.

The trigger was pretty much garbage so I swapped the trigger to the 1911 style APEX flat faced trigger 3lb pull. I have more plans for the gun but Im still doing some research. Great gun for sure.

Wow, that's cool, S&W is a stand up company, as said before, all gun company's should be as gracious.

            Nice gun OP!

How do you like the Apex trigger? I have heard good things about it but have yet to step up and buy it. I am having a hard time warming up to my M&P9 and I'm pretty sure it is the trigger I don't like.

Its awesome but dont use it for CCW. Double taps without even trying, kind of
