Want a new Glock for open/unlimited divisions

I want to build myself a new Glock for GSSF Unlimited. I have been running a stock G34. What modifications should I make? Here is what I am thinking:

    G34 (MOS or slide milled?)
    Leupold Deltapoint
    ALG magwell
    .25 cent trigger job
    Beavertail and grip tape

Not sure what else to do. I will be running handloads and only using this for competition/range practice. What else do you like on your race guns?

If you want to run major get a barrel that has better chamber suport. I would send it off for a johny glock trigger and get the heaviest mag well you can find.

Yea, look at the Jager package for ideas: http://jagerproducts.com/index.php?m...products_id=89. Might as well go all out .
Check on which DelaPoint. For GSSF how small/accuracy, big/faster of a dot do you need.
I think the 3.5 MOA is too small, and the 7.5 MOA is a delta (triangle) looks weird (my eyes, you may like them).

Other Red Dot or cross shop: Docter, C-More, Trijicon, and on the cheap but works side Burris FF3.

OP: you're on the right track. If you're specifically going to shoot GSSF, I believe there's no real running & gunning. I would add weight to the gun to help reduce recoil and balance it better in your hand (tungsten guide, weighted hump insert, stainless magwell, etc). I like the Deltapoint & find the 3.5 min dot OK. The triangle is too big for precision, but good for steel. Its the best of the microdots outside of a bullet-proofed Docter from Grams Engineering.
You should research the plethora of trigger kits and invest in one. The 25 cent trigger job is way better than stock, but the kits offer a better shooters experience.

I would pick the brains of some of the shooters who consistenly place high in the GSSF game and learn what works for them. Ultimately, you have weed through all the crap/BS that is out there & find what works for you.

It's the Indian, not the arrow, bro!

Practice like hell, try & shoot under the same conditions (distance) as you would find at the match. Use the same Bianchi tombstone targets. The reduced size targets suck.

          My 2 cents, good luck!
