Last time I checked this was a gun forum.. I use a lot of slang and abbriv.. SO WAT?! What are u a grammar spelling nazi?? Get a ****en life!! If you feel that strong about it.. We can talk about this in person.. I run resurrection tattoo here in Pasadena..I'm the One with face tattoos. I'm always here..

You'll find people on here are much more apt to help and less apt to go off topic if you are less confrontational and at least attempt to demonstrate a little social grace. Gun owners are not all foul mouthed, slang savvy bad *****es like yourself.

FWIW I'm still waiting for that promised call from Turners when they get a Ruger Birdshead Shopkeeper.

Yeah....the reaction they are going for is for people to communicate in English.

This provides a common ground for people to communicate when interacting with others using a language.
And that language is English.

We don't use pigeon english, we don't use spanglish, we don't use ebonics or jive.

If a person cannot meet the lowest of standards when communicating with others on a forum, then that person might be coached until they do meet the communication standard....which is common english.

But apparently, you feel that people should be allowed to use whatever language to communicate with others.
That makes you wrong.

Holy cow, we have some crazy people on these forums...Not everyone has to be like you or follow your "lowest standards" of communication. It's okay if someone uses other language than what you're used to, it doesn't affect you at all! Or at least it shouldn't. The OP was respectful when he asked the question, he got an answer and then some unnecessary inflammatory comments about how he talks and apparently thinks, and he responded exactly the way the xxRiflemanxx wanted. Inflammatory comment did what it was intended to do. Enough is enough - some of the behavior on this forum is embarrassing - people try to join and participate only to be insulted, prejudged, and turned away by angry oldtimers who think everyone should be like them or they're not a good enough person. Save the craziness for off-topic and keep the rest of the forum clean - at least that's my opinion.

You can as long as they haven’t assigned a serial number to you yet, which only happens when they actually have your gun.

I just placed an order but they said I’ll likely be waiting 8 months. Found what I was looking for within a couple days at another shop and got a refund no problem.

Update: I have successfully obtained my deposit back and i just came home from riflegear!

By the way, I am a 41 years old family man, who is a tattoo artist for 20 plus years. Learned my trade in Asia with a master. My concentration is on full body free hand asian style motifs. I have a bachelors degree in Psychology and own 2 homes here in Arcadia so I am just a regular guy with an interests in guns.

Welcome to Calguns. Lot's of good info and helpful experts. Classifieds can have some good deals sometimes. There are jerks around here too, but the best thing is to just ignore them - I just feel sad for anyone who spends time trying to put someone down on an internet forum for entertainment. Something about the anonymity of the internet that causes people to say things they would never say in-person.

On the subject, there was a time years ago when Turners took a ton of deposits for Kel-Tec KSG shotguns and they had trouble getting them in stock so they did return everyone's money without a problem. Glad you got your deposit back. Riflegear has a great reputation and they're easy to deal with.

First off don't assume people's intentions past what was stated...especially on the internet. Second I didn't really care about the spelling but for a successful person with a college degree to communicate on the same level as the people that inhabit the lowest levels of our society is pretty bad. And yes I tend to judge those people rather harshly, I'm forced to pay for the existence on a daily basis. And based on his response directly to my first comment... inviting me to his tattoo shop located in a strip mall in southern California ..... My remarks didn't seem to be far off base. Sorry if you got offended enegue.
