    XDM upgrades

So I have had my XDM 4.5 9mm for quite a while. I've been looking to do upgrades, but it already comes with a match barrel and oversized slide stop. Any ideas on mag wells (sp?) I.e. if you have had good experience with a certain brand. Also ideas on a trigger upgrade. Appreciate the info in advance..oh also vision in this build is like a 3 gun pistol..I don't have any experience in 3 gun, but I believe it is the open class (no red dots etc.)

PRP ultimate match trigger, professionally installed is the best way to go, in my humble opinion

There are plenty of upgrade, or at least replacement stuff for your XDm from Powder River Precision, Springer Precision and Pistol Gear. I changed out quite a bit and did some stippling in a few areas to enhance the grip. The magwell was more of an afterthought and well, it works but it more personal preference. As stated above, the trigger is the biggest improvement and is a night and day difference. A significant improvement IMHO. If you have good mechanical abilities, it can be installed by you but you do have to have a good idea of what your doing. You already have the slide stop which would be my second. The rest is more personal preference. I will say the laser cut grip tape from Springer Precision is outstanding for grip.

PRP all the way, done then for all my XDM and its night and day. The trigger change is significant.

They also have some good parts including a mag release. Fun pistol enjoy

+1 on the PRP trigger. Drop in is easy to install. Plenty of YouTube "how to" videos online.

I did the PRP drop in trigger with competition springs and it's awesome. You really can't go wrong with PRP

Pistolgear has videos on how the magwells are installed. I believe it is just the backstrap roll pin but it "clicks" in to place before you secure it with the roll pin.

It catches a lip in the front of the grip and has an Allen screw that replaces the back strap pin.
