    Sig P227 Hammer Spring Question

Does anybody know which hammer spring/main spring the P227 uses?

Is it the same as a 226?

Or is it same as 220?

Also would it be the spring that is "new style" with the plastic base?

Numrich sells the 227 main spring for $10.30

different part number from the 220 old or new style

How do you like the 227? Should have bought one before SSE expired.

That stinks. I was hoping to put in a reduced power spring. Can't seem to find a reduced power spring anywhere yet.

I love it, swapped out the reduced reach trigger for a standard one. Now it's identical to my 226 but in .45

Did you keep the e2 grips? I'm in the process of changing the trigger myself the e2 grips make it seem so cheap.

You have to keep the e2, there are no tapped holes for regular grips. Unless there a modification I don't know about

Either way, yes, but I actually like the e2 grips and wouldn't change them even if I could

There are hogue grips out but they're $100. They come with bushings I want the over mold ones like the 226 but they haven't come out with those yet.
