    L&M Precision RMR Install

I just got my slide back from L&M Precision Gunworks. Mark Housel did a nice job installing my Trijicon RMR RM07 on my Glock 19 slide. I was quoted a 3 week return time, but I actually got it back 6 days after he received it! I haven't been able to try it out yet, but I am definitely excited to do so.

Looking good. How much was the total cost? Does it include installing the front and rear suppressor sights also? What about just milling the slide and coating it?
What improvement does the suppressor sights do with the RMR? Need to know cause I am releasing my glock 19 in 4 days and also just ordered the RMR also. Thanks in advance.

It cost me $165. It normally costs $145, but I paid an extra $20 to have the milled area coated. If you send Mark your suppressor sights, barrel, and recoil spring he will install them and bore sight the RMR for free. You might have to cover return shipping unless you're military or LEO. I don't imagine the return shipping will be a whole lot though.

Congrats, Mark RMR'd my Glock 19 slide a few years ago and did a fantastic job as well.

Once you get the hang of shooting with a red dot, your groups will be very small. I'm sold on red dot pistol concept, its worth the initial investment.

I don't have the suppressor sights. I don't know if I should get them or not. Are they worth it? I know they are cheap compare to the RMR.

The suppresser sights are a must have if your having your slide milled for a RMR, their taller height allow you to co-witness the red dot.

Sorry I forgot to answer that question for you earlier. Yes, they are definitely worth it. In my case, my RMR07 is battery powered, so if my dot went out I would still have the irons to use. Plus, the sights help you track the dot quicker.

                  Trijicon RM07's run $500-$600
Another route is to buy a pre-milled slide
That way if you ever decide to sell, you have two distinct buyer groups

I have seen many a RMR/gun for sale and they take awhile to sell. However with a separate RMR mounted slide you can sell your un-butchered pristine gun to one buyer and the milled slide to another

                  Much easier

                  YMMV

According to his website it looks like he does do it for VP9.

I got this specific rmr for about 520-540ish and the suppressor night sights were 126 on Amazon. The sealing plate was 8 dollars. The install was 165 plus shipping.
