    FN 5.7 Pistol - OR - Smith & Wesson 460 8 inch

I know it's two DIFFERENT beasts , two
DIFFERENT categories but if you can only
chose 1 , which one will you choose and
    WHY.

Just wanted to get some opinions.

the 57 is extremely accurate. imho its a perfect handgun. may just be a bit boring to shoot as it is dead on balls each and every time due to little to no recoil.

460 all day for a permanent smile on your face. 5.7 if you want to shoot a pellet gun that can pierce armor

The 5.7 ammunition is not armor piercing (unless you specifically have access to armor piercing ammunition SS190). The round that is commerically available in the United States does not pierce ammo (despite internet rumors).

I stand corrected. If you want a handgun that could shoot armor piercing rounds that you will not be able to own. Go for the 460 the 5.7 just lost its allure to me

460 all the way, .45 Colt, .454 Casull, 460 S&W , what could be better?

460 and then sell it to me if you don't like it.

Almost 2500 ft-lbs difference in muzzle energy between the two, I would go 460 because you can shoot full house magnum loads or watered down cowboy loads.

In this state go 460. Free state 20 rounders why not.
