    problems with my P95

Today we were at the firing range and a bullet got stuck in the barrel of my Ruger P95, fortunately something got my attention and I started inspecting and sure enough after dissassemblimg the gun, I saw a bullet stuck about 1" into the barrel.
I have never had this happened to me so I did not know what to do, It is really jambed in there, any suggestions?
I am in Vegas so I dont have the ability to post good pictures.

I've never had this happen, but was shooting with a friend when he had it happen to him. Luckily it was a .44 Magnum so he just stuck a long-stemmed flat head screwdriver in and hammered it out. You might be able to do the same with a smaller, or possible Phillips head one.

      Glad you caught the squib.
I do not think it's a P95 issue, but ammo issue (under charged). Where did you get the ammo?

I would suggest a wooden > plastic/polymer > brass > steel rod to tap it out.

Just a tip/note, main priority would be the barrel crown protected from the thing you are tapping with.

Since it's only 1" in, tap it backwards towards the breach face. Add oil, tap lightly, go slow.

Good luck, at least is is not a kb story.

I can't remember where I got the ammo, with the shortage last year, I was buying here and there. I will try getting it out the way you guys suggest. I am in Las Vegas right now, we were shooting the beautiful Clark County outdoor firing range when the problem happened.
