Gen 2 Glock 23

I moved to Texas from California. I am planning to drive to attend a NRA Pistol Instructor's course in Calif. in the near future. The thought is while taking the course I can also visit with family.

I know all gen 4 Glocks are illegal in Calif. Is my Gen 2 Glock 23 legal to bring to Calif.?

In california guns are illegal by features on them. There are AR15 lowers that are banned by name as well. Gen 4 glocks arent illegal to bring into the state. They are just not available to sell to the regular citizen. LEOs can purchase them. The only thing that would make that gen 4 handgun illegal is if it had a threaded barrel. Also make sure that the mags hold 10 or less rounds.
