    Pistol conversions?

I have a sig 2022 40 caliber pistol, and I heard that there is a conversion kit (Hopefully for this model) that you can use to make it a 9mm.

Does anybody know anything about this or where I might look? I might also be interested in a 22 conversion just to get cheap practice.

Dunno, but check bar-sto. They do a bunch of different barrels, although when I was looking into one for my CZ-75 they insisted it was dangerous to try to shoot 9mm out of a 40cal bolt/bolt face on a pistol.

I heard there was a conversion kit made by sig especially for my specific pistol, but maybe it was just the salesman trying to sell me something.

I should probably just give Sig a call, if they can be reached.

There are way to convert your sig pro from 40 to 357sig, or 357sig to 40. But never to 9mm, I never figure out why.

anyway, Topgunsupply.com, midway.com all sell those barrel. Maybe you should give them a call see if there are such conversion barrel.

EFK Fire Dragon is the only one that makes a 9mm conversion for the Pro, Barsto once did but they are very hard to come by these days. As for .22, Sig only makes a conversion for the 226,229, and 220.

From what I've been told, it's about the location of the firing pin and extractor. Just dropping in a barrel would result in the firing pin being at a different location (seems to me they should be able to just center the 9mm hole...)

40 and 357 Sig share the same rear end.
