    Bought a Springfield PRO

I have been looking for a good, semi custom, hard use 1911 in .45acp for a while since I have offloaded my Nighthawk, Baer, and many others and Pared down to the Wilson 9mm CQB. I saw a couple on here and the railed gun sold pretty quick, but I wanted a non railed version anyhow. There was a seller here with one and those talks went away. I went to a LGS and saw that they had JUST got one in, sticker was the same that the forum member was asking so the guy at the LGS and I came to a meeting of the minds,,,,,,and wallet. I placed it on hold the day that the negotiations stopped with the other guy, I went in today, did my DROS, paid my money and now I am in my ten day retard phase Got a great deal ( better than can be had used here or gunbroker, it is a brand new build straight from the factory no 2 yr wait.

I handled it a little in the store, that gun is stupid tight, cant wait to push some rounds out of it, trigger is a little heavy, but I am used to a Wilson at 3.5lbs, BUT it is really clean. I will post a range report when I get it.

I ordered one about 6 months ago. I'm ok waiting as I'd rather pay $2200 than 600 plus dollars higher that people and my LGS that got them in stock were asking. I'm still waiting and looking forward to it though!

I'm jealous, I didn't the gunbroker prices were so overpriced. I always thought that 3200 was a good price. I guess I will order mine and just wait

I think I got that Railed Pro

Just picked it up yesterday and for $2,800 out the door I couldn't be happier. When you figure in Tax and transfer fees on top of no wait time, I don't feel that I overpaid by much at all. The gun is in as new condition with only minor barrel hood wear and only 300 rounds through it. Will be taking it out tomorrow at lunch for a shakedown, can't wait!

Edit: 1911Whore, pretty sure you're in my area, which store did you find it at?
