I could buy one if I wanted...

      But I don't.

And I have dozens of 1911s.

Only a manly man that would man up to buy one is man enough to shoot one, but you've got to meet mano a mano with "the man" to buy one from said man that had manned-up and offered a few for sale to real men here on our very own Calguns.

            It's in the competition thread
As they are NFA, no civilians can buy them
Rule 1- ALL GUNS ARE ALWAYS LOADED

Rule 2 -NEVER LET THE MUZZLE COVER ANYTHING YOU ARE NOT PREPARED TO DESTROY (including your hands and legs)

Rule 3 -KEEP YOUR FINGER OFF THE TRIGGER UNTIL YOUR SIGHTS ARE ON THE TARGET

Rule 4 -BE SURE OF YOUR TARGET AND WHAT IS BEYOND IT
            (thanks to Jeff Cooper)

Thank you that was a good video but Jerry is funnier in this video and this is inside secret of what it takes to be a good shooter.

I got to hold one at a local shop. Nice craftsmanship but very heavy and a hefty price tag of about $6000 (shop's price and it sold too)

I still haven't seen any reasoning as to why this isn't a machine gun...

It fires two bullets with each pull of the trigger.

I'm amazed this thing has not been in a movie yet. At least I've never seen it if it has. Pretty cool.
