    XDS Forum??

    What's a good XDS forum?

I have a new 9mm 3.3 XDS that I need to find a good trigger for. Wondering what the Apex trigger equivalent is for the XDS...if there is one. So if any of you can help with this question specifically, it is greatly appreciated.

However, I may have some other general questions in the future so I'm also looking for a good XDS specific forum...if there is one.

Steer your keyboard over to the XDTalk site, they have an area just for the XDS line.

Nothing wrong with that forum, but there is a ton of knowledge here. I have an XDs and a 1911. Get most of what I need here.

The 2 that will pop up often will be Powder River or Springfield themselves. Not sure about Springer Precision on the XDS.

With the PRP, couple of choices: spring kit or spring kit with sear.

Yes, probably more info at that XD forum, since the roster has pretty much banned sales of safe handguns to normal buyers.

I have an extra powder river spring kit if you are interested in trying it out. Just dropped my XDS 4" off for the powder river spring / sear install.

Get the PRP spring kit WITH sear.

I'm running their kit with the stock striker spring. It's perfect. I used this for carry while in AZ.

Aside from PRP, you're on your own- no one else makes a kit yet.

Yep, Powder River is to the XD series as Apex is to the M&P series. Don't have one myself, but based on my limited experience, it was a good time.

Springfield also has the option for a factory upgrade/work over, but I don't know anything about it.

++ for the PRP spring kit w/sear. I did my XDs 45 and the improvement was significant. I've got a second kit ready to go in my 9mm. Installation was a little tricky, but not bad.

                    Xdtalk.com is awesome.
I've installed PRP triggers in my XD and XDM and have a other they recently came out with one for the xds. You'll notice the xds trigger smooths out after a few hundred rounds as well.
