Amazon won't ship a Meprolight sight to Calif??

In big red letters: "Sorry, this item can't be shipped to your selected address."

Just wanted a front night sight for my SP101. Are they illegal here in Calif? This is very strange. I'm not isis, I swear.

Is it actually Amazon or one of the companies that sells under Amazon's banner? I've never had an issue with actual Amazon purchases some of the Amazon vendor's (if that is the proper term) have very different policies on shipping to locations.

Weird. I've ordered 2 sets of trijicon suppressor night sights on Amazon with no problems

I don't know the answer to that. I've bought quite a few gun related accessories from Amazon so this is the first time I encountered this.

For the hell of it I tried putting in my shopping cart an XS Tritium, Hiviz and XS Big Dot and they would have shipped no problem. Then I did a Meprolight for a Glock and got the same "won't ship" warning. There's just something about Meprolight that Amazon has issues with, that's my best guess.

Odd though, Reeds carries Mepro sights but didn't have any for the SP101. I just placed an order with Brownell's and their site didn't say anything about not shipping to Calif, will they ship it to me? Hope I'm not on some 'list' now

Brownells is where I got my Mepros for my XD. You won't have any problems. Coincidentally I bought them from Brownells after I had the same experience you did with Amazon. Lucky for me they were even on sale.

Odd. Must be something Mepro asked or implemented with Amazon. Lots of people have ordered lots of accessories off of Amazon before.

Many companies and even individuals are refusing to ship gun parts to CA whether the item is legal here or not. It's getting ridiculous.

Hmm this is weird. Never had a problem with amazon shipping any of my gun related purchases before.

I keep saying if they got into selling full on selling gun related items like ammo I'd die from 2 day shipping. or same day! ahh
