    HK P2000SK

This is a question for those of you who own this pistol.

    How does it shoot?
Every gun rag I've read says that it is perfect in every way..
I'd like to hear the truth from the owners perspective.

Was it difficult to get used to the decocking switch..?
Did you have to change the grip configuration to fit your hand?

Does it present well and handle quickly?
Where you able to find holsters for it?

    Thanks

The P2000sk is my favorite pistol for everyday carry. It shoots a lot better than I expected it too, not as nice as say, a fullsize USP but in my opinion way better than a snubby. I dont have a decocking switch, i use the LEM varient. I dont use the backstraps, I think it fits my medium sized hands perfectly, but the backstraps are a nice option for those who might need them. I would recommend replacing the extended magazine floorplate for a flat one, the extended one bunched up my fingers too much, but with the flat one i can rest them underneath the magwell. I use a homemade holster, well really it was made for a beretta but i cut the extended leather off and my P2Ksk fit right in, heres a pic...

It shoots like an Heckloer and Koch , having shot many snubbies and owning an M&P compact I am more impressed with the P2000 SK , it does not shoot as well as a full size USP as mentioned but it is my favorite compact , the decocking lever does need some getting used to , at least for me as I otherwhise use Sigs , but if you decide to go with a P2000SK I doubt very much that you will regret it .
