    Pearce Mag Extensions

I got some of these for my XD sub. They fit fine and feel better than the factory extended mag. However, the mags no longer slide freely when doing mag changes. Anyone else experienced this? I know they make them for other manufacturer subs, and was hoping someone found a fix or another style that work better.

Can't comment on them for XDs, but they work fine in my Glock 36.

They work like a charm on my Shield. Not sure what you mean by "mags no longer slide freely." Do you mean they don't drop free by gravity, or that they don't go in smoothly and lock in?

          Your hand

I don't mean to offend you, but you may be getting your hand in the way. Just to be sure, take your hand completely off the grip and hit the mag release button to see if it still gets hung up.

I had then on my G26.

They were cool for a while, but I noticed they didn't actually improve my grio or shootability, but they DID make it harder to conceal, and increased its grip footprint to almost a G19.

So I took em off, gave em to a friend, and am happier overall.

Worked fine on my P10 as well.

They work fine on my glock 30sf.
Only thing is that there's a little bit of a gap between the grip and the extension, but nothing to worry about.

I'm pretty sure they would be designed not to do something like that but maybe there's something wrong with the molding / shape of the ones you have.

No problems with my G29 or g36 pinky extensions... have 12 magazines that use them. No experience with XDs though, sorry...
Settle down, folks. The new "ghost gun" regulations probably don't do what you think they do.

Not sure what you mean by "the mags no longer slide freely," but when I bought Pearce extensions for a Shield, I had to sand them down slightly so that my mags would seat properly.
