Btw beretta said it at the shot show that they will bring in the blue steel and a G model vertec. Hope these are true..

I plan on getting one next month. Once the M9A3 is released there will be many more grip options. I think a pair of black/gray G10's from VZ would look great on the Inox Vertec.

UPDATE: I emailed VZ and they will be making grips for pistols with Vertec frames. I was told to check back in a few month.

The 92FS is a modern classic. It is a trusty old friend that I am always drawn to when I open my safe. I have at least 10K through mine without ever once having an issue. It is very reliable and accurate.

One thing that kind of bothers me a little is when folks want to modify their new guns. Obviously, it is their property and they are free to do as they wish.

I don't know the OP's experience level or experience history with the 92FS. But I always urge folks to really shoot their pistol as is from the factory. Put 1,500 rounds through it before modifying it.

Don't get caught up in the reviews and articles as a new shooter. Have your own personal experience first.

An analogy would be, hearing gossip about a co-worker before you ever met them or worked with them. It isn't fair to the co-worker for you to start with a preconceived notion. Have your own experience, then decide what you like/don't like.

When you get to hold a vertec and a normal 92 back to back you'll feel the difference. The Vertec feels closer to a hi power in my hands.

Good advise. I will definite shoot her in stock form first. However the D spring will go in later for sure. The DA pull is kind of heavy in stock.

Nice Vertec Inox. As much as i'd like a M9A3, I agree with orangeusa, don't cerakote an Inox .

I placed an order for the same pistol on Monday and still waiting for it to arrive to start DROS. 2 Berettas in less than 2 months and there might be a couple more on the list. The "D" spring is a must have upgrade, all the others are a matter of preference. Enjoy!

Good luck with that, I've been looking for an extended mag release for my 92fs for months.

The Elite II extended mag release hasn't been available for quite some time but they come standard on the new 92G-SD. Wilson Combat has a checkered extended mag release (non oversized) available if you do not like the Beretta oversized mag relaease.

It's Schlafftablett and his real name is Josh, owner of Allegheny Gun Works. They do real nice stuff on Berettas. Wilson Combat also has a short reach trigger available.

That might be true and would be happy if they do but they will not be available in California since they are not on the stupid roster.

I have an extended magazine release for sale- very nice, but you must first purchase the M9A1 that comes with it.
