Almost all guns outside of CA is a too good to be true, haha.

If you have any family vertical connection (kid/parent)...they can move it in to you.

          Of course they're "legal."

Now... as for being "on the roster" I don't believe so, but still legal to transfer via PPT.

With the rash of galling issues they've been having with their tight fit SS guns I'm sure some are getting cold feet. Not an issue with the duty coat guns though. Check out the DW forum on 1911forum.com. Their SS guns are not for newbs.

Isolated incidents. I'm sure DW has pumped out plenty of SS guns that are way onto their 1,000s of rounds without issue. Every manufacture runs into some lemons here and there.

An Armslist scam? Pretty common. What was the price?

is it through a dealer? unless you are LEO, you cannot purchase it as it is off roster.

                        Run.

That's way too good to be true unless something is really wrong.

At that price, a few things come to mind:

                          1. Scam. That price is too good to be true as blems are usually on a few hundred less than non-blems

                          2. The seller knows the DW is hosed and and is using "blem" as an umbrella term for any/all issues (BTW, each blem comes from the factory with a data sheet [including pic or pics] with area or areas specifically identified)

                          3. Maybe it's a factory blem and the seller has added a few of their own blemishes.

I've learned than when things appear to be too good to be true, there is a reason for it.
